Digital Squeegee Hybrid Printing
Digital Squeegee hybrid printing combines traditional screen printing with digital inkjet technology. Screen printing creates durable underbases while digital printheads produce vibrant, photorealistic images. This combination delivers the best of both worlds: the durability and feel of screen printing with the detail and color range of digital printing.
Hybrid printing enables unlimited full-color designs without extra screens, resulting in faster turnaround and lower costs for complex artwork. Traditional screen printing requires a separate screen for each color, which can be expensive and time-consuming for detailed designs. With hybrid printing, you get 300 DPI resolution compared to 50-60 DPI with traditional screens.
Hybrid printing offers faster speeds on bulk orders, more vibrant prints on dark shirts, and the tactile quality of screen printing. It's also compatible with specialty inks that DTG cannot accommodate. Most importantly, hybrid prints are far more durable, lasting 50+ washes while DTG prints often fade after just a few washes.

Yes! Our hybrid prints withstand repeated washing and maintain their quality wash after wash. The screened base layer bonds with the fabric just like traditional printing, and our high-quality inks are cured into the fabric for maximum longevity. Expect 50+ washes without fading or cracking.
Absolutely! We can incorporate metallics, puff finishes, glow-in-the-dark elements, and textured effects with your digital prints. This versatility allows for truly unique designs that stand out from the crowd and aren't possible with DTG printing.
Hybrid printing works best on 100% cotton or high-cotton blends. It's not recommended for nylon or heat-sensitive synthetics. Small runs under 12 pieces may be uneconomical compared to DTF printing, and standard CMYK color limitations apply. For smaller orders, we recommend our digital printing options.
Hybrid printing turnaround is 5-7 business days from art approval, which is often faster than traditional screen printing for complex designs. Rush options are available for time-sensitive projects. Our Digital Squeegee prints 375-400 pieces per hour, making it perfect for large orders with tight deadlines.

The minimum order for hybrid printing is 72 pieces. This minimum exists because hybrid printing still requires screen setup for the white water-based underbase. For smaller orders, we recommend DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing which has no minimum order requirement.
DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing is a digital printing method where designs are printed onto special PET film, then transferred to garments using heat and adhesive powder. DTF has no minimum order, works on any fabric (including polyester), prints at 720 DPI, and offers 50+ wash durability. It's ideal for small orders and samples.
We accept AI, PSD, PDF, PNG, and high-resolution JPG files. Vector formats (AI, PDF) are preferred for best results as they can be scaled without quality loss. For raster images, we recommend a minimum of 300 DPI at print size. Our design team can also help convert or clean up artwork if needed.
We print on most major garment brands including Gildan, Bella+Canvas, Next Level, Comfort Colors, American Apparel, Hanes, and more. We can also print on customer-supplied garments. Contact us for specific brand recommendations based on your needs and budget.

Yes, we ship custom apparel across the entire United States. Shipping costs are calculated based on order weight and destination. Rush shipping options are available for time-sensitive projects.
Absolutely! Our in-house design team can help turn your concept into print-ready artwork. Design services typically start at $50 depending on complexity. We also offer free design consultations to help you get the best results from your print.
Reorders are easy! We keep your artwork on file, so future orders require no additional setup. For hybrid printing, reorders may have lower minimums. For DTF, you can reorder any quantity. Just contact us with your original order details and new quantity needed.
Yes! Our Digital Squeegee uses GOTS-certified organic, vegan, water-based inks. These inks are free of PVC, phthalates, ozone-depleting chemicals, lead, and heavy metals. Cleanup requires only water - no harsh chemicals. This makes hybrid printing one of the more environmentally responsible options for custom apparel.
Pricing depends on quantity, garment type, print size, and number of print locations. Generally, hybrid printing costs more than traditional screen printing but less than DTG for medium-to-large orders. Contact us for a free quote with exact pricing for your specific project.

Yes, rush orders are available depending on our current production schedule. DTF orders can be rushed in 24-48 hours, and hybrid and screen printing can be rushed to 3-5 business days. The Digital Squeegee is M&R's patented hybrid printing system that combines screen printing with digital inkjet technology. A white water-based underbase is screen printed onto the garment, then 16 digital print heads lay down CMYK water-based ink directly onto the wet underbase in a single pass. For large orders (72+ pieces), hybrid printing significantly outperforms DTG. Hybrid prints 375-400 pieces per hour vs DTG's much slower output. Hybrid works on polyester and poly-blends while DTG is limited to cotton. Hybrid prints last 50+ washes while DTG often fades quickly. And hybrid costs less per piece at volume. For small runs under 72 pieces, we recommend DTF printing instead.
