The Digital Squeegee hybrid print system uses Eco-friendly water-based inks that are traditionally printed (with screens) onto the t-shirt to provide a nice white base layer. Next, the digital image is quickly printed onto the white base using a whopping 16 advanced digital print heads. This process allows for a superior digital image combined with the softness and wash fastness of screened base inks. It's the BEST of both worlds.

How Digital Hybrid Printing Works Better
- With the Digital Squeegee, you are not limited to the number of colors you can use in your design. Hybrid printing allows for large runs of beautiful, full-color artwork.
- Traditional simulated process printing uses 8-12 different colors printed on top of each other to "simulate" the full-color range. This typically shows larger visible halftone dots and can lead to color changes throughout the print run as the wet inks mix together. Hybrid printing with the Digital Squeegee stays consistent from the first to the last t-shirt print.
- With Hybrid printing using the Digital Squeegee, your design printed at 300 dpi (versus 50-60 with traditional screens) will come out crisper and cleaner than you can imagine. When your artwork demands the best image quality, there is no comparison.

- Emerging brands and global retailers are becoming more and more concerned with their environmental image and are demanding their suppliers are also more environmentally conscious.
- While most plastisol inks are now phthalate-free, that still doesn't make them the most eco-friendly option out there. Being made from a mixture of PVC resin and plasticizer, they're still far from being environmentally friendly at all. Water-based inks, on the other hand, are completely free of PVC resin or plasticizer.

The Digital Squeegee hybrid print system uses the world's most eco-friendly GOTS (Global Organic Textiles Standards) certified organic, vegan, water-based inks. These inks offer the softest and most durable prints possible. The water-based organic inks are not only better for the environment, but they're also better for your skin and are more comfortable to wear.
These specially formulated hybrid inks do not contain ozone-depleting chemicals such as CFCs, HCFCs, aromatic hydrocarbons or volatile solvents. They are also free of lead, heavy metals and other toxic chemicals. - Waterbase inks are also easier to clean up after printing and require no chemicals to do so – just water. This keeps potentially harmful substances from our waste water supply. And responsible shop disposable of waste water-based ink is imperative to keeping our environment clean.

DTG printing is great if you need one shirt to wear a couple of times. But the Digital Squeegee hybrid print system offers so many benefits:
Typically, DTG printing starts to fade and crack after just a few washes. This is due to the pretreatment that has to be applied to the shirt before printing ever happens. With hybrid printing, you get screened bases like traditional printing that allows the design to last 50 washes and on.
DTG is limited to 100% cotton. Hybrid printing works on polyester, poly-blends, and fleece—opening up a world of possibilities for athletic wear and performance apparel.
